About Wishwell
Most of the love in our lives goes unsaid. It sits in group chats and camera rolls, in toasts that are over in ninety seconds, in things we mean to write down someday. And then the wedding happens, the birthday passes, and all of it scrolls away.
Wishwell started with a simple observation: the best words people will ever hear about themselves are usually saved for a day they're not in the room. That always felt backwards to us. So we built the well. You send one link to everyone who loves someone, and they add what they've been carrying: the photo from the trip nobody else was on, the letter they'd never manage to say out loud. Then we turn all of it into a book worth keeping for fifty years.
There's a moment we build everything for. The room goes quiet, the pages start turning, and someone realizes, in other people's words and other people's photos, exactly how loved they are. That's the whole point.
What Wishwell makes
A Wishwell is a collaborative keepsake book for weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, and the days in between. The organizer shares one link. Friends and family open it on any phone, with no accounts and no apps, and add photos and a letter. Every Wishwell begins as a free slideshow for the reveal. When you want something they can hold, you choose how the book gets made: a printable download you design yourself, a professionally designed hardcover, or an heirloom book with a human designer on every page. See pricing.
How we treat what you share
Photos and letters exist here for one purpose: making the book and slideshow you asked for. We do not sell personal information, we do not run ads, and contributions stay private to the project unless the organizer shares the slideshow link. The details are in our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
